Carriages usually require that a deposit is paid before the day of the funeral. The funeral account is divided into two separate parts. The Funeral Directors Charges and Disbursements.

Finance

Financial assistance may be available from the D.W.P. to help with the funeral costs and your Funeral Director will have useful up to date information regarding this.

The government has implemented a price structure for funeral directors which has fragmented funeral charges. This, I believe has made the pricing of funerals much more complex and difficult follow for the lay person.

As instructed we will follow government guidelines, but because of all the items that can affect the cost of the funeral, we advise you to ring us for a chat, an open transparent chat to discuss the cost of your funeral requirements.

Our phones will always be answered by one of our staff. Most families, we believe, simply want to know what the total charge will be for their provision and that they will be looked after with care, empathy and consideration. Regarding the latter – word of mouth is a very powerful source of confirmation. We advise that you, if possible, speak to families or friends that have used our services before to confirm our level of service. We are a family run company and we have no connection to a cooperative or a corporation
